What made you chose this career path? When I was in middle school, they gave us a career test and mine came back as a carpenter as I loved building things. I loved taking random things and building something functional. When I was about 19, I started working as an apprentice for my brother in law at a construction company. I then learned how to build houses from the ground up, inside and out. Then I moved on to marine construction which I found fascinating. The owner of marine construction quit his business and a friend asked me to come work for a company that flipped houses who then started a property investment company that I was asked to come help with. Now I am with JE doing all different types of jobs which I love. I go with what I know and understand.
Whats the best piece of professional advice you have received? When I was young, an old man I worked for once said, “Silence in golden, shut up and do as your told”. It was then you learned to have to ears and one mouth instead of two mouths and one ear.
